The Use of Capsule Houses in Landscape Design Studies

Abstract

The rapid development of urbanization has provided significant opportunities for the advancement of architectural landscape design while simultaneously bringing about major challenges. This pace of development has led to the rapid emergence of new urban areas and an endless array of new construction projects. For those longing for natural environments, structures such as bungalows, caravans, capsule houses, and tents have become attractive alternatives. Capsule houses stand out as innovative structures offering sustainable, aesthetic, and functional solutions in modern landscape design. Thanks to their nature-friendly designs and portable structures, they offer extensive usability in rural, natural, and recreational areas.

Natural and cultural landscape areas, which possess natural, aesthetic, functional, and economic features, provide various usage opportunities. Demand for natural spaces such as waterfronts, rural areas, historical sites, and national parks is increasing day by day. The aim of this study is to develop design proposals for living spaces to be created in these mentioned platforms. Different models will be created using SketchUp software.
