International Congresses of Turkish Science and Technology Publishing

Agriculture has played a fundamental role in the development of human civilization since the earliest stages of human history. As civilizations advanced, scientific discoveries and technological innovations transformed agricultural practices, contributing significantly to improvements in productivity, product quality, and food security. These developments have helped meet the growing nutritional needs of the world's population. However, despite their considerable benefits, advances in agricultural production have also brought environmental challenges, highlighting the importance of sustainable and environmentally responsible agricultural practices.

The exchange of scientific knowledge, innovative ideas, and research findings among scientists working in agriculture and related disciplines is essential for advancing agricultural science and technology. International scientific meetings provide valuable opportunities to strengthen academic collaboration, encourage interdisciplinary research, and develop innovative solutions to current and future challenges in agriculture.

With this vision, we are delighted to announce that the 5th International Congress of the Turkish Journal of Agriculture – Food Science and Technology (TURJAF 2027) will be held on 3–5 June 2027, hosted by Adıyaman University, Türkiye, with both in-person and online participation opportunities.

The congress is organized by Turkish Science and Technology Publications (TURSTEP) in collaboration with Adıyaman University, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Sivas Cumhuriyet University, and the Ayhan Şahenk Agricultural Research and Application Center of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University.

The congress aims to bring together distinguished scientists, researchers, academicians, agricultural producers, breeders, industry representatives, and other stakeholders from Türkiye and around the world. The event will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing both on-site and virtual participation, and congress sessions will be broadcast live through TURAS TV.

The scientific program will cover a broad range of topics related to agriculture, food, and environmental sciences, including animal production, crop production, aquaculture, food science and technology, agricultural technologies, soil science, sustainable agricultural systems, agricultural economics, genetics, biology, agricultural ecology, landscape architecture, environmental sciences, and innovative technologies related to agriculture and natural ecosystems.

We anticipate the participation of distinguished national and international researchers, providing an inspiring platform for presenting original research, exchanging scientific experiences, discussing emerging challenges, and establishing new academic and professional collaborations.

We are deeply honored to dedicate TURJAF 2027 to the memory of Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Yusuf Gökalp, in recognition of his valuable contributions to agricultural science and education.
